Wire Works Amarone Wine Release showcases a dual maturation of White Peak Distillery’s lightly-peated single malt, first rested in ex-bourbon barrels before finishing in first-fill Amarone wine barriques. This expression continues the distillery’s celebrated wine cask series, offering a rich, sweet, and fruit-forward profile balanced by gentle spice and soft smoke. Naturally coloured and non-chill filtered, only 1,091 bottles were produced, making it a limited and distinctive release. Aromas of strawberry laces, orange oil, and caramel lead to a palate of blackcurrant, sultanas, cherries, and milk chocolate, finishing with dark chocolate, chilli, coffee, and strawberry jam.
