Named after the dark, stormy coves of Campbeltown’s west shores, the Gauldrons is a marriage of some of the finest Campbeltown malts and is bottled by Douglas Laing in very small batches. The nose holds a salty quality with sweet caramel and a hint of peat smoke rounding it out, and the palate is warming and rich, with notes of sugar, barley and oak developing into spices, smoke and a salty-sweet caramel flavour in the finish.
