Plasencia Cosecha 149 La Vega Robusto Cigar – The Plasencia Cosecha 149 showcases Nestor Andrés Plasencia vast array of tobacco, this time the focus of the Plasencia Cosecha 149 blend is consisting solely of Honduran tobacco. Not just any Honduran tobacco, but Plasencia’s 149th harvest, which happened in 2014. Now that the tobacco has had seven years to age, the Plasencia’s have turned it into something special. The Plasencia Cosecha 149 is blended with a wrapper from Olancho, San Agustín, a binder from Jamastran and mix of filler tobaccos from Jamastran, Talanga and Olancho. The Cosecha 149 is made in Honduras at the Plasencia’s Tabacos de Oriente factory and delivers a medium to full bodied smoke.

Casdagli Grand Mareva Gold Petit Corona Cigar – Gran Mareva Gold was launched to celebrate the 2015 Cigar Smoking World Championship (CSWC) finals in Split, Croatia. All the leaves have been sourced by Hendrik Kelner Jr and aged between 3 to 5 years in the Kelner Boutique Factory (KBF) prior to blending and rolling. This is a rich full bodied smoke delivering deep peaty notes with an underlying sweetness.

Rocky Patel A.L.R. Second Edition Robusto Cigar – The Rocky Patel A.L.R. Second Edition is hand rolled in Nicaragua. It is a medium strength cigar that features an oily Mexican San Andres maduro wrapper placed over a Honduran binder and a blended filler made up of Nicaraguan and Honduran tobaccos. The Rocky Patel A.L.R. Second Edition delivers notes of espresso and cocoa. After rolling, these cigars are aged for two years to enhance their flavour.

La Galera Imperial Jade Robusto Cigar – The La Galera Imperial Jade Robusto is the sixth release of the sought after La Galera brand. It is also the first time that cigar impresario Jochy Blanco has made a La Galera cigar using a Cameroon wrapper. Its silky smooth, warm brown Cameroon wrapper covers a Criollo binder, and a filler made of Criollo 98 and Dominican Piloto Cubano leaves. Once rolled, this medium-strength cigar delivers a delightful full-bodied smoking experience with a creamy and spicy profile. The La Galera Imperial Jade is handmade in the Dominican Republic at Blanco’s Tabacalera Palma factory.

Por Larranaga Picadores Cigar – The Por Larranaga Picadores was discontinued in the 70’s but now has been re-introduced and is the latest addition to the Por Larranaga regular production line. The new release was re-visited, the ring gauge was increased from 44 to 48 and the band is one that was used in the older days on Por Larranaga like the Dunhill Selection No. 32. Medium Strength. Even Burn with good quantity of smoke. Not complex but with some cinnamon,coffee,nutty tastes always with a back note of pepper. Good to take a walk with so perfect for the golf course.
