The H. Upmann Magnum 50 marks a milestone in the history of the brand. Announced by Habanos S.A. in February at the 2008 Festival del Habano in Havana, the Magnum 50 has been a big hit since its release. Measuring 6 1/4″ length and 50 ring gauge, this new vitola was first seen as a maduro wrapped Limited Edition release in 2005. The Magnum 50 joins the Magnum 46 (5 5/8″ X 46 ring gauge), introduced 25 years ago, to form an important series of heavy girth H. Upmann vitolas in line with the preference of today’s cigar enthusiasts.
